Originally mentioned here, a year and a bunch of days ago. Then somehow along the way I got caught up with buildings and never got around to it. Also I might have started listening to cd's of musicals in my car which always ends up in me yodeling "the lonely goatherd" and not feeling very inspired to make any sort of worthwhile musical commentary.
And actually, I don't have anything particularly insightful to say today, except that it is spring and this has been on loop in my head (and my car) for a week or so now:
Oh Strauss, how soaring and swelling and peaceful and lovely! Waltzes are the pop of classical music. There I said it. NERDSAUCE.

I think you'd be proud to know that my just-turned-two niece can sing ALL of "Do a Deer" all by herself. It's pretty darn cute- and impressive! You too really have a lot in common; hating whales but loving to swim, singing songs from musicals, enjoying the cuddling/tormenting of cats...the list really goes on and on!
